You did the hardest part. Now let's make it last.
Perdura is a structured sixteen-week programme for people coming off GLP-1 medication — built to rebuild appetite regulation, not rely on willpower.
Sixteen weeks · One-to-one · UK-wide
01 — The problem
Most people aren't told what happens next.
GLP-1 medication works largely by quietening appetite — the constant background hum of thinking about food that many people call food noise. When the medication stops, that signal typically returns. Nothing has failed. The mechanism that was doing the work simply isn't there anymore.
Around two-thirds of the weight lost typically comes back within a year of stopping a GLP-1. It doesn't have to go that way.

From medication to independence
Held up from outside
01 — On medication
The medication was doing the work.
Appetite quietened. Food noise stopped. For many people it was the first thing that had ever properly worked — and it worked because a drug was carrying the load.
02 — The transition
Then the support is withdrawn.
Appetite returns. Food noise starts up again. Nothing has failed; the mechanism that was holding everything up simply isn't there any more.
03 — Rebuilding
Structure takes the weight instead.
Satiety from food, not from a drug. Muscle protected. Sleep and stress treated as appetite variables. Built deliberately, while there is still room to build.
04 — Independence
It stands on its own.
The habits hold without the medication and without white-knuckling. That is the whole point of the programme — and the reason it is called Perdura.
02 — The reframe
This isn't a willpower problem.
Regain after medication isn't a lack of discipline — it's an unmanaged transition. The habits that keep weight stable are usually built while appetite is suppressed and the pressure is off. That window is the opportunity, and most people go through it without any structure at all.
Perdura exists for that window.

03 — How Perdura works
Four levers, worked deliberately.
Rebuilding satiety through food structure, protein and meal timing, so fullness does the work medication was doing.
- In coaching
- Protein targets at every meal, meal timing you can actually keep, and practical work on food noise as it returns.
- How it connects
- It sets the floor. Sleep and stress make appetite louder; movement protects what nutrition builds.
Preserving lean mass through the transition, which is what protects metabolic rate long-term.
- In coaching
- Resistance training built around your week — not a gym programme you will abandon by week three.
- How it connects
- Muscle is what keeps maintenance from getting harder over time. It makes the nutrition work go further.
The two variables that most reliably drive appetite dysregulation, and the two most often ignored.
- In coaching
- Sleep timing, wind-down, and identifying the specific stressors that show up in your eating.
- How it connects
- A bad run of sleep can undo a good week of eating. This is why it is a lever, not an afterthought.
Weekly one-to-one coaching, with support between sessions so nothing drifts for three weeks before it's caught.
- In coaching
- A weekly session with Jaz, plus contact between sessions when something comes up.
- How it connects
- It is the layer that keeps the other three honest when a week goes badly — and one will.
04 — The programme
Sixteen weeks, structured.
Phase 01
Baseline
Full health screening, current medication status, and an honest picture of where appetite, sleep and movement actually sit.
Phase 02
Foundations
Building the eating and movement structure while medication is still supporting you, so it's established before you need it.
Phase 03
Transition
Working through the return of appetite signals with a plan already in place, rather than improvising.
Phase 04
Independence
Consolidating what works and building the protocol you'll use when a bad week happens — because one will.
What a week looks like
One coaching session, plus the daily practices we build together. The programme is designed around people with demanding jobs, not around people with spare hours.
05 — Method and evidence
Built on measurement, not motivation.
Progress is tracked using validated tools rather than the scale alone — including the Food Noise Questionnaire,1 a research instrument developed to measure exactly the thing most programmes never assess.
Weight is one signal. Appetite, confidence and consistency tell you far more about whether change will hold.
Food Noise Questionnaire (FNQ) — a validated self-report instrument for intrusive food-related thought. Used at baseline, mid-programme and exit, alongside sleep, movement and confidence measures.
What gets tracked
Illustrative — direction of travel only, not measured outcomes.
06 — Who's behind it
Why this exists.
Perdura was founded by Jaz Sandhu, a Health and Wellbeing Coach working in the NHS, supporting people with obesity, type 2 diabetes and hypertension.
The pattern was consistent: people did well on medication, then came off it with no plan, no structure and no support — and were left to interpret the return of appetite as personal failure.
Perdura is the programme that should have existed at that point.
Between sessions
You always know where you are.
Each week you get a short written review — what moved, what didn't, and the one thing to focus on next. Nothing to install, nothing to log every day.
The point is that nothing drifts unnoticed for a fortnight.
Example of a weekly review. Not live software — coaching is delivered one to one.
07 — Questions
Straight answers.
No. The programme works whether you're currently taking a GLP-1, tapering, or have already stopped. The earlier you start, the more of the transition you get to prepare for rather than react to.
No. Perdura is a structured coaching programme. Any decision about starting, changing or stopping medication is between you and your prescriber, and we'll always ask you to keep them involved.
That's a common point to arrive at, and it isn't a starting point that changes what's possible. The work is the same: rebuild the structure that manages appetite.
One coaching session, plus the daily practices we build together. The programme is designed around people with demanding jobs, not around people with spare hours.
You leave with a protocol you can run yourself. Ongoing support is available if you want it, but the programme is designed so you don't need it.
